Wind Waker, while not a completely new experience, definetely manages to become worthy of the Zelda name.

Let's make some things clear here. I'm not going to go on and on about every detail of the game like in every other review. I will simply get to the point and say yes, this is good, or no, this is not good. Besides, all you want to do is know if the game is worthy of a purchase, right? All right, let's get to it. Graphics: I know you may be skeptical of the graphics in this game. Sure, they resemble a Saturday morning cartoon, but that doesnt detract from the beauty of the game. The game is a work of art, simple as that. I don't care how "cool" you think you are for these graphics, if you have enjoyed previous games in the series, this is a must buy. Gameplay: Nintendo has come up with another addictive heart-collecting, Moblin-slashing, rupee-spending awesome fun game. Everything you loved about the previous Zelda games, you will find in here, with one exception. You don't have a horse. I'm sure you've heard, but the entire game is just one big ocean. So instead, you have a boat. While sailing the ocean for up to twenty minutes at a time from island to island may not be your cup of tea, it adds a sense of immersion and realism. The only knock in my opinion is that the water is always flat. There's no waves. This can be a bit repetitive, but I'm just nitpicking. Sound: Ah, Zelda music, who can forget it. This one is no exception. While a lot of songs can be a bit repetitive or just plain boring, there are a lot of songs that will stick with you. Another knock I have is there is NO VOICE ACTING! I know Nintendo is trying to stick to tradition (or their budget), but they're gonna have to start keeping up with the times. Let's hope there will be some VA in the next adventure. Value: The story in the game isn't much. It's very simple, but it will keep Zelda fans entertained. Some scenes can be pretty good though. The replay is incredible. I don't want to talk about it, but there's a lot more to find this time around than previous Zelda's. You will not be disappointed. Conclusion: This Zelda game contains everything we've come to love about Zelda and more (except land, and a horse, and realistic graphics). To put it in simplest terms: If you think you're a Zelda fan, but you don't own this game, you had better reconsider.
