Wind Waker is one of the best games of all time, and can contend for being the best Zelda game! It's a must play!
The hours upon hours of gameplay were a blast. I loved sailing from island to island finding things to do and accomplish. The bosses were a blast to fight, and the story is excellent. It seemed like everytime you did something, there was another thing to do. I found the puzzles a blast to complete, and the enemies were great.
Despite loving WW, I was still unaware of the hero of time backstory. I went back to play OoT later, followed by MM, and understood the story more. I thought both OoT and MM were great. But, I still liked WW more.
The graphics, no matter what people say, are excellent. I loved the look of the surroundings, the enemies, the characters, the items, and dungeons. The cel shaded style fits in well with the whole great sea feel. Everything looks great, no matter what it is.
This was the game that made me a Zelda fan. If I had not liked WW, I probably wouldn't have played OoT, or any other Zelda to this point. The point is, if you haven't played this game, you are really, really, really missing out.
This is a must play for anyone, Zelda fan or non-Zelda fan. It's difficulty is great for both gamers and non gamers alike. This is the greatest Gamecube game ever. I rate it a 10/10. Go buy this now if you haven't played it!
