Classic gameplay & Beautiful artistic visuals make Wind Waker a great game that should be in your Gamecube collection
Gameplay (10/10)- Wind Waker brings the same fantastic Gameplay from previous Zelda games. Link will find new item/weapons in his journey. Wind Waker is different from the previous Zelda games, it does not have 1 massive land. The game has a lot of Island, some of these Island are bigger than other. You travel to these Island via boat (your boat is wind waker Navi) , he guide you and gives you info on the locations. The boat has different function once you have certain weapons. The Ocarina have been replaced with a baton called the Wind Waker. The Wind waker has mysterious power when it plays a song. For example you could play a song and it could change the direction of the wind. The wind is a major part of the Gameplay, as well as every song you learn through the journey. There are many Dungeons in the game, each Dungeon has puzzles, an individual item, and a boss at the end of each one. There are amount of side quest in this game that will take you a while to complete them all. Also they added a new Defensive countering system to the game. when an enemy are about to attack link, Link can do a counter move to counter the attack. Wind Waker has twist & some turns that the game will throw at you that make the story great.
Visual (10/10)- When I first saw the screens of wind wake I was like they ruin the Zelda series. Boy, was I Wrong. Once I played the game, the Artistic visuals looked beautiful. The character models look and move great as well as the deep seas and dungeons. The effects are wonderful with nice color to each environment that stand out once you see these locations.
Sound(9/10)- The wonderful music is great. You’ll recognize some of the tones from Ocarina of Time but these song are remixed with new stuff from wind waker. Every enemy in the game has his or her own little noise, you will hear enemies coming your way when your hiding.
In Conclusion The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker is an excellent addition to the series. The classic game play & Beautiful artistic visuals make Wind Waker a great game that should be in your Gamecube collection. I highly recommend it.
