Cel-Shaded or no,this is still one of the best zelda games ever,if not THE best.

You know what i hate? How the players and critics always complain about "fresh" and "unique" ideas for games but whenever something fresh and unique comes along the moan anyway. That was the case for wind waker for a while. It was seen as a cel-shaded game (the first in zelda history) and its cartoony looks turned off the series fans BIG time. I for one was intrigued. When i finally played it,Well when we all finally played it most of us (including myself) fell n love instantly. The graphics were cute and unique and the gameplay was the same awesome thing we got in majoras mask and ocarina of time but better with its fast pace. Some,even today still hate on this gem. Calling it a kids game just because of its graphics. Believe me this is no kids game. Behind the cuteness lies a very dark plot,that isnt as creepy or evil as past zelda plots but its good in its own right. It starts with Link who is as always just a simple villager until one day his sister is kidnapped by a large bird. A pirate named Tetra assists Link in getting back his sister and from then on she becomes a huge part of the plot and has the biggest plot twist in any zelda game to date. Overall the wind waker is a fantastic game. It delivers what fans know and love about the zelda series with some new and unique twists.
