Absolutely incredible....one heck of a good reason to buy a Wii.
In every Zelda game, you play as Link, the hero of time. Each Zelda game is set in a different time, yet the Hero of Time is reborn over and over to save Hyrule from imminent destruction, most of the time from Ganandorf.
He gets his title from Ocarina of Time because he travels in Time with the Master Sword when it is taken out of its pedestal, 10 years ahead.
In Twilight Princess, you(obviously) play as an older Link, my guess would be around 18 or 19.
You start off in a small village. Your respected from pretty much everybody. But later on your friends are kidnapped by some bandit....pig...things.
You chase them but are caught in the Twilight, which is the evil that is spreading all around Hyrule. When you inside the Twilight, your a wolf, and you have to figure out what the freakin' heck is going on. You end up at Hyrule Castle and end up meeting Zelda, who tells you what's happening.
That's a brief explanation of the amazing story...
Twilight Princess has the best graphics for the Wii, probably it will be the best until the next system comes out...possibly. The world is very detailed, the mountains and villages, and pretty much everything is very gorgeous(for the Wii).
When you first set out to Hyrule Castle, you see the huge field before you, leaving you wanting to explore it all. When you get later in the game...you realize Hyrule is even bigger, since it has another big, wide open area. There are obviously going to be other villages and areas...so in other words, Hyrule is huge, and it's a lot fun to explore.
The soundtrack is simply awesome. In the Zelda games, they have pretty much the same soundtrack, but they never get old. They are unique to other games, some are breathtaking, others catchy, and others just a nice tune to listen to.
Some points in the story leave you speechless, because it can be emotional at times. Like Link's friend having amnesia and not even recognizing him. And other points like that, especially near the end with Midna.
The combat is fun, sometimes you will encounter Howling Stone things for when your a wolf, which will set up a location for you to meet with this pimpin ghost wolf to teach you new sword techniques, which are a must if you want to kill your enemies easier.
If your a fan of Zelda, and even if your not, you should definitely check this out.
If you love deep involved stories where it's emotional and epic, then pick up a Wii and play this. To me, it's a good reason to at least borrow a Wii. The story will take you 60 or so hours, longer if you look for all the heart pieces and such.
Hope this review helped you......I love you.
