Enthralling story and gorgeous art direction!
The controls are a little weird; they feel like they ported the Wii controls back to into Gamecube instead of just using the original Gamecube controls. I don’t think it affects game play enough to warrant a lower score; it is just an observation
The sound effects are really well done, however I do feel that this game would have benefited from having an orchestrated soundtrack. There were times where I felt the synthesized music fit really well, and others where I felt it was out of place.
Some people argue that the game needed voice acting, and scrolling through text is dated, however I feel it just depends on your taste. I personally like the way they balanced the text with a little hint of the characters voice. Far too often have I played a game where bad voice acting ruined the experience.
Compared to other Zelda games I don’t think it is the best in the series, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is an awesome game. I think WW and OoT did a better job of introducing you to the game. This game does, however, have one of the best Zelda storylines.
