Words fail me....this game is as equal if not better then it's next generation Wii counterpart.
It's more of a cross-breed of Ocarana of Time, and Majora's Mask. Hyrule returns with wonderful scenery, great riding music for both day and night. And this time, you play as the older Link. You see him more in depth than you have in Majora's mask, through a much less "Loner type" attitude.
This game also provides a perfect mix of both light hearted fun, and simply intense gameplay stuck in a war-torn era of Zelda.
Visuals will leave you speechless. Your clothes actually get soaked when in water, lake shots are simply beautiful, the surrounding people are far more detailed then you'd expect from past games like Ocarana of Time or Majora's mask, and the Twilight battles and scenes are as good as gamecube has provided. It simply boils to this, Twilight Princess could possibly have the best graphics gamecube has ever produced. Quickly rising up there with Resident Evil 4, or Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes.
Controllers are easy to manuever, and perfect for puzzles in the game. You will never have trouble with the controllers, which is something you seldom see in any game.
Music is good as Zelda games always provide. The music always matches surroundings perfectly such as in Faron Woods, Twilight zones, or anywhere else. Boss music is as intense as ever, and you'll truly just fall into the ambient feel it provides everywhere you go into the game.
Gameplay is the best part. You'll get so into the story, and your surroundings, and then you'll simply get nailed with the gameplay. It not only brings out great and often challenging puzzles, but the strategies used against bosses and the head on battles with certain bosses through horse riding and jousting will leave you on the edge of your seat. If you own a Gamecube, you simply must share this experience as it matches the next generation Wii no questions asked.
