Addictive adventure that continues on the spirit on the Zelda series...
All the usual elements that regulars to the series will remember and cherish are present. The first couple of hours of game play will have you feeling like you are replaying sequences straight out of Ocarina of Time, such as jumping fences on your trusty steed, catching a chicken for a ride and shooting your slingshot to help out a few of your fellow citizens. The dungeons remain quite challenging and take an equal measure of thought and skill to conquer. Be warned, the quests in this adventure can become quite addictive!
The twist in this edition comes when Link turns into a wolf when "twilight" takes over, and he gains the help of a little demon friend who guides him through the darkness. These moments in "twilight" are an interesting change to the customary shoot and slash game play with Link, but even the addition of "sense of smell" and the "sixth sense" can't really prevent the gamer from waiting for the light to return.
All in all, Twilight Princess is great value for money and an excellently crafted RPG like its predecessors. I don't agree with other reviewers that this is the best version released – Majora's Mask is by far my favourite due to its complicated time based missions that take weeks to perfect. I look forward to continuing on my journey through the world of Hyrule in whatever format it takes.
