The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the latest Zelda game to come out, and Although it is a decent game, the lack of gameplay innovations and original storytelling let it it down alot. And believe me, I am the biggest zelda fan there is.

The game starts off in the town of Ordon, where Link is asked to go to Hyrule to deliver a royal gift. In the first couple of hours of the game, the story really picks up, but when you're about halfway through the game, the story gets to the point where it feels like an Ocarina of Time ripoff. Now, some of you might be saying "but they're both zelda games so they're not ripoffs!", but when i say that the story is a ripoff of OOT, i mean it. It all goes like this: Link starts in forest village down south. LInk goes to Forest, Fire, then Water dungeon, gets master sword, completes 4 or 5 more dungeons, defeats Ganondorf, then it ends. I also thought the ending was laughable.

Nintendo promised many things for this game that they just didn't put in. Like FULLY orchestrated music, cgi cutscenes, a 45-minute-to-travel-across kingdom, and so on. But it's like they just scrapped it and replaced it with a kingdom that's only about as big as Hyrule field in OOT, Doom-like midi music, and a horrible graphics engine that is used for both the gameplay and cutscenes.

Like I said before , the graphics in the game are not that great. They look more like a flashy version of Wind Waker.

The gameplay is ok, but its the same damn crap we've seen since the first game. In fact, they've deducted features since Windwaker, for example, you can't pick up weapons from dead enemies, which would have been a nice feature because the enemies in this game have NICE weapons. The AI in this game is just broken. Enemies are too slow and inaccurate to even compete with Link's over-the-top weaponry.

Overall, the game can be enjoyed, no question about that, but if 1) you're a fan of the series, or 2) think Ocarina is the greatest game ever and anything that rips it off sucks, then definately stay away from this game.
