And Amazing Game and an Excellent early title for the Wii
User Rating: 9.5 | The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess WII
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker were both excellent games that every adventure lover would adore. Now, the Zelda series introduces it's Wii title: Twilight Princess. This game greatly utilizes the Wii controls while still keeping the classic Zelda feel. I dont care what Gamespot says, the Wii controls work great with the game. Swinging the Wiimote to swing Link's sword is a creative and fun feature that can allow you to truly get into the game. Also, shoot arrows or lauching the Clawshot is so much simpler. Before the analog stick was used and I personally always had problems moving just a little too far and missing. With the Wiimote, its all in two words: Point and Shoot. Simple and effective. The story follows the original Zelda formula, progressing throught Hyrule, traversing through dungeons, and fighting creative bosses. Although, I do wish they re-introduced a musical instrument, but to counter-ballance this, Link can take his wolf form (which includes the ability to howl familar Zelda tunes), so it works well. Also, my new favorite aspect is the sidequest that teached Link new swordsman moves. They are simular to the reaction command in Wind Waker, except now you can use them whenever you wish. Also, the great number of new moves is phenominal. Fortunatly Link's still the good ol, silent, and courageous Link we all know and love. I am glad they decided to take an adult form of Link instead of the Wind Waker child-like form. The concept art of the game is very well done as is the soundtrack. Overall, if you own a Wii, this is a must own for any adventure lover that fully utilized the new Wii motion action.
