-Interesting dungeons/enviroments
-Fun combat
-Interesting subtle uses of all Link's equipment
-Pretty cool twist to the story
-Some interesting npcs
-Interesting sidekick
-Somewhat hard bosses
-Beautiful Graphics
-A variety of enviroments
Cons
-I truly cannot think of much to say here, perhaps if I played ocarina and the rest more than the few hours that I spent perhaps i could make some comparative judgements, but from my point of view, I could not find any major problems in this game
Controls-
This new wii version of zelda allows the player to use the wiimote to simulate link's actions in the game. Though the control is limited. For example, moving the wiimote does not actually move the sword. When you swing it, it swings the sword, but it does not actually move it around. The bow allows more control, as where you point is where the crosshair moves.
Movement is still controlled by a joystick.
The buttons all do various things, and the a/b buttons are used in combat for different attacks/skills.
There is horseback riding, and that too is controlled by the joystick, though pressing A makes the horse run in a short gallop.
Graphics
I'm not a graphics freak, so I pretty much judge graphics on how well I can see everything. Of course, with a bit of aestethic appreciation added in.
The graphics on this game are great for the wii, and pretty great anyways. Though not featuring the high quality special effects on other systems, the graphics are very artistic and quite beautiful. The environments look great, and the people are pretty good too. I can see everything fine, and everything is distinguishable (you wouldnt Believe some games...).
Story
The story is pretty linear though interesting. The general adventure is pretty much identical to the other zelda games, but as the other ones, this also has a big twist.
Because i dont want to spoil it, I wont say, but its quite immersive, and features a pretty cool sidekick and wolf form
Though, I hated the wolf form attacks, it kinda sucked
Combat
Combat was great, it featured some old moves from the previous games, and introduced a few new ones. They werent very hard, but required some practice to do well. Archery is great, and sort of realistic (except for the fact that link can hold the arrow for as long as he wants..).
Equipment
It brings back some of the old items, and some new ones, and they paly a big role in the game. It is up to the player to discover some of these though, and draws you deeper into the game
Minigames
I tried to suck every last drop from it. A bunch of sidequests and etc. gave some nice distractions and rewards. They were fun, and had a great variety. Some were puzzles by themselves, giving you more mysteries to solve.
Bottom Line
I loved this game, because of the great story, the fun combat system, great enviroments, and great puzzles
