this review is just there to say. original zelda WAS an amazing game, but now that its so old, the graphics are bits, not polygons, the sound is a synthesiser, and the story fits in one text box

i explain my choices for each rating

Gameplay - 4 - when this game was in it's heyday, a story was the coolest thing to have, but now thats its almost 20 years later. a story that just says "save Hyrule" is a bit underrated. the puzzles are, however, the same as the rest of zelda, great. but how 'bout the map system? or the order of dungeons? or anything like that.

graphics - 3 - c'mon, look, its top-down with NES graphics

sound - 3 - a synthesiser, not much to explain

value - 10 - this was one of the 3 most prestigious games when it came out, so props for that.

tilt - 10 - this game is fun, thats a given.

overall, this game is great, 20 years ago. but up to today's standards, this game is nothing without the name zelda on it.
