A good action game, worth having in your collection.
Gameplay: The game is a good solid action game, with controls that are easy to learn, and plenty of tricky combos to learn and use. There is plenty of difference between the playable characters: some are fast and rather weak, but some are slower and stronger. There is a character for every sort of gamer.
The story is long enough, and the levels are challenging. There are a few frustrating moments in there, but most of it it simple enough (without becoming boring). Sometimes the camera angles make life a bit difficult, but it is not too bad.
Graphics: I found the graphics to be quite good, if not jaw-dropping. The characters faces werent perfect, but the environments were stunning and very faithful to the movie. Everything runs smoothly, even with large numbers of orcs on the screen,
Sound: The game is full of footage from the movie, quality voice acting (provided by all the actors from the film) and quality music. The game manages to smoothly blend the footage into the game. The sounds of swords clashing and shields breaking are good as well.
Value: This game has been around for a little while, and it is becoming easy to find a bargain. I paid around $20 AUD for my copy. There arent many better games of this type at that price.
Overall: ROTK is a good fun action game, easy enough to pick up and play but challenging later on. A definite improvement on The Two Towers. You really should go out and buy it.
