Overall an good and playable game, but those of you who are bothered by nitpicky details will cringe often.

I'm a bit more picky when it comes to movie/book to game transitions. Though the majority of it was fun and playable, there were a lot of details which bothered me to the point where I wondered, 'why didn't they improve this?'

1. Camera angles.
Running back and forth between areas can really mess with your sense of direction concerning the controller in relation to the character position.

2. Character models.
Close observation of the character models and animations shows some minor animation looping errors. I've seen Xbox games with better character graphics then in this one. Also, mouths don't move when characters talk, they're just static, shut tight.

3. Really, really repetitive.
Its one of those hack-and-slash games that gets old after a while, even if the level designs and level-ups keep it fresh enough for this not to be too annoying.

4. Strange things happen when you play a level as the character not intended to play it.
When you beat the game you can go back and play levels as different characters. I was really hoping for EA to go the extra mile and actually change character reactions, but no- bring Aragorn to Shelob's Lair and Frodo will still call for Sam- and Sam will still talk, even though it is Aragorn, not Sam, that is present. Even as this is an extra feature and it is excusable that EA didn't really do anything cool with it, it's one of those things that makes me wish it was done better.

5. Some voiceovers are kind of annoying.
Being someone who's seen the movies countless times, I've memorized quite a lot of the lines- and those lines are used in the game in strange places. Its kind of weird for me to hear some of the lines knowing that they belonged elsewhere.

6. No skip button!
You can't skip movies if you haven't seen them before. See above- I've seen them way too many times and don't intend to see them when I want to play the game.

There were a few more that bugged me, but I can't recall them at the moment. Anyway- just personal preference, but the little details this game didn't quite get right bug me a lot.
