I had tried several times to get into role playing games and just could not get the hang of them. They always seemed so hard to me. I played LOTR and fell in love with role playing games. Being a LOTR fan, I loved how this game followed the movie but not quite. Unlike the other LOTR games where you would play as Sam, Frodo or any other LOTR character from the movie/book, you play as this unknown guy who meets all these different characters as he tries to fight for Middle Earth too. You also during the game met up with some characters for the movie/book like Legolas and Gandolf which I thought was really cool. This game is really easy to learn (I did set the difficulty to easy!) and I would strongly recommend this game for people who are trying to get into role playing games. I thought the story line was great and I really like the characters in this game. The ending I felt could have been slightly better but in general I loved this game and would play it again.
