The Good: Graphics, sound and presentation are right on. There is also a fair amount of depth to the gameplay. Details like seeing new weapons and armor change on the in-game models make progress mildly rewarding. If you’ve never seen any of the movies then you might actually enjoy earning cut-scenes.

The Bad: Extremely repetitive turn-based combat system and random battles. Spells really aren’t all that impressive. Game takes itself too seriously and is very cheesy at times. Overall boring gameplay will make TTA feel more like a burdensome chore than an RPG.

The Ugly: A game based on the novel of the century actually has a terrible, almost completely underdeveloped, plot.
