Lord of The Rings: The Third Age is somewhat an RPG. You assume the role of Berethor, a Gondorian warrior. Throughout the game more allies join your team or party. The game covers the entire lord of the rings saga. The game includes cut scenes from all the movies. The stages or areas that you travel through are great. They're great because of the graphics and enemy encounters that occur. I love you can change the equipment that your characters are using. In the game you don't buy equipment, you find it, steal it, or/and are rewarded it. The graphics are great for a gamecube game. My favorite characters are Berethor, Hadhod, and Elegost. You get a wide variety of characters: archers, spearmen, axemen, elves, swordsmen, and a dual-axe women. the gameplay is very intense. The gameplay offers the player the choice to get set their own difficulty. There is easy, medium, and hard. I first played on easy, but now I'm on medium. I've beaten the game quite a few times. But you can play the game in a variety of was, thats what I love about the game. The ability to change the way you play the game each and everytime.
