Great action sequences that mimics the events of movie perfectly!

LOTR: Two Towers is a hack and slash game that covers the first 2 LOTR movies. All of the main events in the two movies are covered in this game: Moria, Plains of Rohan, Helm's Deep to name a few. This game is best describe as a glorified version of Golden Axe. You will kill countless foes using combos, do certain objectives (protect something or someone, knock down ladders etc..), witness great in-game or actual movie cut-scenes, gain levels and EXP to upgrade your skills / acquire moves or combos and finally unlock movie or interview footage from completing missions with a certain rating. Certain objectives you'll need to do in the game :

- Protect the hobbits from the ring-wraights
- Blow up explosives before the Orcs can use it
- Knock down ladders to protect Helm's Deep
- Protect Helm's Deep main gate after the wall is breached

Some of these levels are INTENSE! This is a short game, if you don't care about unlocking all the secrets or replaying levels to get a better rating, you should be able to finish this in 5 to 6 hrs... depending on how good you are.

This doesn't really matter because you *will* want to replay certain levels because this game is so-well constructed and intense. The more quickly you hit foes without being hit yourself will get you a lot more experience points at the end of the level. You will also end up with a better level rating (thus possibly unlocking stuff).

The music and sound effect is also well done. It's like they were all lifted from the movie.

This game is the perfect rental and one of the best movie to video game adaptation to come out in a long time!
