A Big Letdown

User Rating: 5.5 | The Matrix: Path of Neo PS2
I was in Gamestation, trading in some old, unwanted PS2 games. The guy at the till gave me store credit, so I started to look around. Immediately, this game was drawn to me. Looked at the blurb and screenshots at the back of the box and thought WOW this looks pretty sweet. So I got home, and I wasn't dissapointed...yet. I started to play the game and was overjoyed that I could finally play as The One, Neo. So, I worked my way through the first few levels. Thought to myself, this is quite easy, but it's bound to get harder, surely.....oh how I was wrong. Within 4 hours, the game was completed. I found myself looking through the game for something else to do, but there is no free roam or anything of the sort. So I picked up the box, saw the pre-owned sticker...'£12.98' it read. When i saw this red blob on the box in the store, I immediately though BARGAIN, as the game hadn't been out long. But now, sitting at home, looking closer at the sticker, I noticed that there was another sticker under that, and another one, and another one. The price slowly increasing until I was at the original £34.99. If I had noticed this mountain of adhesive labels in the shop, it would have hit me that this game wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

The next day, I got a refund :D

Oh Alex Navarro...if only I had come to you first!
