With some minor cons, Path of Neo is by far the best in the world of Matrix gaming.
The gameplay is unique in many ways, first off you've got multiple weapons at your presence, you can either pick 'em up or steal 'em from an enemy while doing a cool melee attack. Secondly, you can master more than 400 martial arts moves, with or without the use of weapons
Now if you thought that was cool, how about having a completely destructible environment in each and every level, from ripping a room in half to tearing down an office building. Some other neat features include the slow motion physics, dodging/stopping bullets, running up walls and never before seen footage and characters.
The only cons I found to be most annoying in this game are the graphics (since it's for the PlayStation 2) and the audio, you will notice some amount of lag in certain levels or situations (examples: levels being Burly Brawl and situations being a major fire-fight at close range), but even then you'll be having way too much fun fighting hundreds of Agent Smiths' to notice anything unusual.
The audio is a bit disappointing since they never really did use any of the tracks from the original motion picture's soundtrack, but rather created new material that didn't quite fit the gameplay. The sound effects never did coincide with the gameplay either, it was a serious case of lightning then thunder.
All in all, I'd recommend you rent this game first before you decide to buy it, but if you're a big Matrix fan (like myself), then this game will offer you a brand spankin' new and rather bizarre ending -- to love it or to judge it will be entirely up to you, since the Oracle herself won't bother reading this review.
