Good game. Might have its flaws but it's still worth the time to play it.
Performance was great. Although I do wish more graphics cards were supported by it. Mabe a lower graphics setting that was run able by weaker computers simply to increase the possible computers that can run it. But thats just my opinion. I still think they did a good job in the design there. It does seem to require an actual graphics card to play. None of the computers I played it on that used onboard were able to run it, but without fail every computer that had a card I tried it on ran it just fine. Even one I tried it on that had a bad graphics card. (It was rather weak one.)
The gameplay was great. A lot of combo moves and you can upgrade further along you get, so you can literally get a feel for his learning of the matrix and slowly growing in power as he progresses through the storyline.
But bear in mind I am writing this review as if I were writing it at the time it was released, because it was designed with the hardware and technology of that time, and with said things in mind. So to compare it to today's games would be unfair.
In the end I think it is a great game. Main factor I get out of it is the gameplay is fun. Its fun to play with the special moves and on certain levels blow things up. Though its mostly the hand-to-hand stuff I enjoy playing with.
