A choose your own adventure game with only one way to win. So much for "choice"
However, after several failures to get certain stats high enough to continue, I soon realized, there really is no choice involved at all. It is simply the matter of finding the correct path of choices to take to reach the end, which defeats the purpose of this sort of game. It also makes you stop caring about the story as you rapidly tap your way through searching for the right sequence. A game based on choice should have multiple paths to multiple endings that make you want to replay it and see what you get. Not so with this. This is very linear like an old-school infocom game, or even those graphical text-adventures put out by Legend. The only difference, there's no items to collect and it's just not fun.
That one flaw kills this game and my enjoyment of it tanked instantly once I came to that realization. Even with the tempting 'free' price tag, I'd keep surfing the App Store for something else and save yourself the same disappointment.
