The Orange Box is the best package of video games I've even bought or seen. It contains 5 games in 1 AND those 5 games are some of the best 1st person shooters out there. They are 5 different games all using the Source Engine which provide the player with the same, easy to use, HUD interface while playing. They are games with good graphics yet can play smoothly on almost any graphics card.
Half-Life 2: A full sci-fi/action game with plenty of both. With a very linear storyline yet still provides excitement all the way through. Nice and challenging, but not too hard. You'll have fun for hours killing aliens, alien-enslaved people, and zombies. Keep your crowbar handy!
Half-Life 2 Episode 1: Shorter game than H-L 2 yet even more exiting. With a continuing plot that picks right back up after the end of the first game.
Half-Life 2 Episode 2: As long as Episode 1 with a different type of playing environment that gives the player a nice change.
Portal: An all new type of shooter where you don't shoot anything only shoot portals (entrances and exits to wormholes) on walls, floors, and ceilings. Use your spacial-visual skills in order to complete puzzles and outwit a psychotic computer system controlling the world around you. Don't forget your Companion Cube.
Team Fortress 2: An online cartoon-style shooter with several different classes to play as. Play as a devious spy or the Russian Heavy Weapons Guy to the Aussie Sniper and more! It'll have you playing for hours on end and never getting sick of it.
