So much potential, but I dunno I can't get into this game.
Gameplay: Your character is annoying to control. The game has clearly be built for a controller, so this left me the sour waste in my mouth that this is merely a cash-in to fund a future release (maybe better, while we are doing beta testing) on xbox live or something like that.
Apart than that, you wander around and try to find interesting things (sometime a walls, a playground for kids, a big cloud...), you collect this things in your basket ( how you can fit a piano in your damn basket in a mystery), you try to catch the wolf and you mmm collect stars, err I mean flowers... A ridiculous goal in a game that try to be a thriller.
The game has 0 story and rely on your imagination ( what they say on steam page). While I have no problem with that, I would appreciate to have "atleast" something interesting in the game to make my imagination work. If the girl sit near a piano saying something taken from Jean-Jacques Rousseaux philosophy. wth you want me to do with that... The game differents ending (?) are all confusing and will leave you unsatified to have wasted an hour of your life to get to it ( I did only 3 endings, so 3 hours of my life wasted lol, I am stubborn sometime).
I also want to point ou that I did not find the game scary. Ho yeah, sure you are exited the first 15 min (you know, when you are pumped by the game description ;) ) and the forest make you feel you are in the blair witch project, but after some time, you will notice that there is no ghost that appear, nothing that will freak you out like a salmon outside water, just some landmarks spread across the maps (different landmark for each girls, 6) and some voiceless character that all love you ( ok no, but I am not here to spoil the game)
Graphic: a beautiful gem. Forest are lush and well made. Film grain effect is done properly for a change. The text can become invisible under some graphical effect (happen often)
Sound: The soundtrack is the best part of the game. It get a bit repetitive, but it add some tension to the game for the first 15 min, until you notice that this game is not scary and the tension is a lie!
value... 10$, 6 hours of gameplay, maybe more. The problem is that I feel like I am paying for the beta of something that will only get better with more work, but I think that I will not have the opportunity to receive the better version for free in an update. Wait for the demo, this is the game that look good on paper, but in reality it's a huge disappointment.
