Are the people giving these rave reviews playing the same game I did? This game had so much promise and failed.
First it starts out fine enough. You get to pick out a girl you want to be your character. There are choices ranging from normal , emo, and punk girls. Then you start the game and it tells you to stay on the path. You do that, the game ends and you fail. So then you slowly, and I do mean slowly walk around this huge somewhat creepy forest. At that time I still had hope for the game because It was rather creepy. After awhile I figured out the point of this stupid game was to show different characters what was in my basket and to collect flowers and other crap.
It was seriously time consuming because first of all, she's very slow, even when running. Also when you run, your camera angle becomes obscured and you can't see very well, if at all. So your stuck walking with occasionally blindly running. When you get near a character, scene with dwelling or object to collect, your character freezes in whatever direction you have her and you have to work the h-e-double hockey sticks out of your mouse or controller to get her to interact or pick up the object. Many times you have to abandon the scene altogether and reposition your character to make a beeline for the object or whatever.
I love adventure games, but this had many elements I couldn't stand. Slow, boring, and incredibly frustrating. I had so much promise for this game and I can't believe it was that bad. They could have done so much more with this game. Like making grandmas house or other dwelling accessible to look around and interact. Instead you spend the game gathering flowers, looking for wolves, and showing little girls knifes and wine. Spend 10 bucks at your own risk!
