Huh so thats what a Shotgun to the face does.
Note that there is gore and violence plus use of bad laungage in this game but if you are older than 15 and can understand and take pitty to those in the game you are well hooked on it.
The levels in the game allow you to kill your enemy in many different places, many different ways well actually over 103 unique ways to kill them. there are some challanges that require you to get information by taking enemies with a WHITE skull over tham and the pressing the GRAB button and pressing the A button for you to interigate them by using one of four unique ways.
GUN TENTION
Here is where you use your magnum, pistol, or revolver and point it to the enemies head and torture them into telling you information or blowing their heads off.
PUNCH
Here you punch the enemy in the face and in the groin for info or if you get ticked off at them just beat the living **** out of them but beware to much Fist + Face action leads to a better future.
FACE SMASH
here you kick the guy in the stomach and throw them on the groun in the prone position and you geta grab of their head and put you knee on their backa nd pull the head back and make it collide with the stone or cement bottom that it awaits. It also gets info here but is pretty hard to get and also if to much Face + Concrete then a bloddy face there be.
CHOKE
here you kick the guy in the stomach and watch him fall on his knees and then you can make his heart rate go up by choking him and this is the best way for me to get the information i seek and if you kill the guy least you will see him fall on the ground lifeless.

SOME KICK ASS FUTURE WEAPONS

but note that each weapon has its unique way of dealing with your enemy like for example
SHOTGUN - it will throw the enemy back and kill instantly(not immediately on heavy armored troops) but if you aim it right at the persons LEGS,ARMS, or HEAD the you will and i mean will blow that limb right off.
MAGNUM - will kill immediatley with a clean sweep of a HEAD SHOT plus it will also blow their head right off.
So i can say that there are these special kills int he game marked with YELLOW skulls which give you point to purchase upgrades for FRANK CASTLE or FRANK CASTLES DEADLY WEAPONS . In the GRAND NIXON ISLAND level it has this big ass snake that you can throw a guy at it and watch it leap for the guy and kill him.
Plus it has great cutscenes and exclusive Photos, Hints, and Mob Photographs of the guys you killed plus it says under KING PIn that he is too big to take care of now so it is giveing a hint for The Punisher 2.
one cutscene i really like is when you escape from Grand Nixon Island and you take this one guys plane and kick him out and you leave plus he says something like
"I CANT BELIEVE HE LET ME LIVE" - the guy
After that line 1 second later the Island blows up and kills the guy
What irony there huh folks.
