Gamespot must be too soft when it comes to a great game like this despite all the gory stuff this game is fun as hell!

I've been playing The Punisher non-stop since I picked it up last Thursday. I didn't have to go to school Saturday because I was snowed in thank the lord. Therefore, I got to play this game for as long as I wanted. Which was a terrific idea in my opinion. I put down Halo 2, Killzone, GTA:SA, and started playing The Punisher. All I have to say about this game is WOW! This game is unbelievable I thought GTA was bad The Punisher takes GTA and drills a hole right between its eyes. I'm not kidding this game is not for the squeamish or for young kids. This one is made just for us mature adults who love blood, pain, and suffering in games. The special interrogations are downright nasty. For instance when you're at the funeral home you can throw a guy in an oven until he talks. Now if that isn't cool I don't know what is. This game feels like it's been ripped right out of the comic books. When you're prompted to pick up a gun or guns it has that comic book style writing and drawing. The only complaint I have is that the sound is a little off. During the CS my speakers got real loud but during gameplay the sound's a little bit lower. But that is just a minor complaint in what is a great 3rd person action game. The quick kills are disturbing, the interrogations are gruesome, slaughter mode is hardcore, and the game overall is outstanding. If you laugh when you watch death scenes in horror movies pick this one up. You'll laugh when The Punisher during a quick kill tosses his weapon at the enemy, the enemy catches the weapon, and The Punisher stabs him in the face with the Rambo style knife. I'm telling you if you like M rated games don't hesitate to pick this rightly earned M rated game up.
