Better than the movie.....but that doesnt say much.

Now we all know that The Punisher is a really cool Marvel Comic book characters and he is one of my favourites. Punisher movie came out around spring of 2004 and it was a dissapointing movie in my opinion. The movies action sequences werent that great and same follows in the game. Now the game is better than the movie but it isnt a very good game at all. It has high promises and cool scenarios but falls short. The game feels very sluggish and it has that feeling a lot of people get, that feeling is the "If a couple of more monts and testing went on maybe it could have been something better". That feeling goes with this game good, the game is just above mediocre but it has many problems and is just plain boring and no fun. The biggest problem to me is that the game is just too easy. You can get shot so many times are barely lose energy which you can use to your advantage to get past hundreds of enemies but it just gets boring very fast because all your doing is going, shooting and killing. Killing enemies is also very easy, they die wih less than 3 bullets which is realistic but this game wasnt meant to be realistic at all. Even though you are supposebly a hero in the Marvel universe you just dont lose as much as energy as you should be. The Punisher was looking to be a good game from the trailers I have seen but when it came down to playing the game, after the first few levels I just got bored so much that I turned it off and played Mercenaries instead which might I add is a far more superb game than this. If they added more innovation to this game and made it a bit more difficulty with more replay value it could have been a good game. Overall the game is once again a failed movie and comic combined game that just feels like you take a hammer, and keep breaking nuts over and over and over until you just get tired of it. If the game was a bit harder, longer and had more replay value it would have been a really good game. The action sequences arent even that great compared to a game like Mercenaries. If you want to play this game, id recommend renting it, finishing it and not think about it since it just wasnt that fun. This game needs Major Improvements
