Closest game to manhunt....Without the manhunt.
Since i have never heard of the punisher comic books...I thought that was odd when i found out the punisher was a comic book series. All you ever do in this game is slaughter people with either your gun or a knife...
Basically this game is about a guy whos family gets killed in a mob hit. He then basically goes insane and gets revenge on the mob family that took out his family (the gnuccis) and some other criminal organizations like the yakuza. This game comes very close to being around as violent as manhunt...but not exactly. For example, you can often run up to people and stick a knife in their throat or the top of the skulls, or Right through their face. The game is pretty fun but at times certain levels are long and drawn out and may bore you. One of the huge drawbacks of the game is its sound effects, they are very underwhelming and horrible. Graphics are like..meh..average. One of the things i thought was awesome about this game was the fact that sometimes when you shoot someone...you will be able to see the bullet wound on their wound. But for only like $20, this game is definately recomended. The campaign is pretty short, about 10 hours or less but it has a lot of replayability. Overall its an O.K. game to play if your bored or something.
