"The Revenge of Shinobi” was essentially the NES classic, "Ninja Gaiden" with better graphics and music.
The player controlled a ninja who ran perpetually to the right in this side-scrolling action game. Just like "Ninja Gaiden," the ninja in "The Revenge of Shinobi” was armed with a samurai sword, and a limited number of shuriken.
"The Revenge of Shinobi” differed from other side-scrolling action games only in that the player controlled a sword wielding ninja instead of a guy with a gun. Regardless, it was still a cool game, and it made use of the Sega Genesis engine, which made for some cool visual aspects, like leaves blowing in the wind.
