A simply Perfect Game, haunted by some irritating glitchs and flaws.

User Rating: 8.5 | The Saboteur PS3
Imagine a mix between Grand Theft Auto 4 and Assasins Creed, and then throw that mix into Paris 1940, thats Saboteur. If you have ben looking for a great sandbox that mixes a lot of good stuff into a single package, then this one is for you, form the german shooting to the city freeing and stree racing this proves to be the perfect game...if it wasnt for some really annoying glitchs and flaws.

Graphics/Sound: The graphics are nice, when you drive around paris in your 40s cabriolet and look at the different places like notre dame and the eiffel tower they looks almost as grand as in real life, unfortenately theres one flaw about said graphics, as you should have already heard this game as both black and white and color parts and its nice to show how the city of paris was being oppressed by nazi ruling but in the black and white parts of the city its really commom to lose sight of things, things get really blurry and sometiems this affects gameplay. Regardign the sound i have bad news, while the voice acting is great and both vehicles and guns sound realistic, the music falls short, when driving the radio only plays 3 musics, and most of the time the normal ambient music just cant keep up with whats going on, still its minor and it wont really affect overall game satisfaction.

Gameplay: This game as a lot to do, in first line you have the story missions, these can consiste of a variety of things, from killing someone from a high place really gta style, to infiltrate a factory and destroy it from the inside, these missions are really nice because you can choose your own aproach, from a stealthy all the way in, to simply knocking the front door down and go in guns first, these will take about 20 hours to complete, then you have side missions, which earn you bonus and are very much like story missions, also take 20 hours and finnaly you have the freeplay targets which are simply nazi stuff that you can blow up to earn money and have a load of fun, and this will take you about...honestly i dont know, have been destroying them for about 3 days now and am still at it, there are about 1300 of them so you wont get bored there, and since its so satisfying to slip into a nazi uniform and go around placing dinamits in peoples backs, you wont stop thill you got them all. Aside the main missions you also do a lot of driving, with classic 40s cars and even though at first the cars feel rigid and really stiff, quickly you get the hang of it and soon youll be racing across paris, running from your pursuers which will desperately try to kill you. Later on in the game you unlock some racing missions which alhtough not in quantity are still fun to do and earn you some really nice cars to use in the normal game. Now a big flaw in this game is the fact that shoting is so rigid, each time you point, the sight moves to fast and youll feel out of control, making you miss a lot, with use you get used to it but it could be improved.

Story: Great in fact, both the characthers and story are great with a really deep plot. You play as an exiled irishman called Sean Devlin, and hes one tough irishman. The story begins with a small introduction to sean`s history, the killing of a dear friend by a nazi officer and a really great race. By the end, as you go up the eiffel tower to kill your nemesis, youll really fell the sensation of acomplishment as you alone destroyed the nazi opression from and entire city.

Overall: A great game in fact, it only lacks a bit of polish, taking care of the glithcs and flaws, which unfortenately are many, thast aside its and all and true 8,5.
