The Secret World is probably one of the worst MMOs to date. The combat is horrible, the enemies are laughable, and the action is actionless. The graphics were sub-par and the game play was lacking anything that kept me wanting to play the game. This game will go Free to Play within a few months. Nothing in this game inspires you to stay. The first attempt at combat I made with a shotgun made me cry at the wasted time I spent downloading the game. The grating to block doors and passageways felt like I was playing a crappy version of Star Trek Online. The Zombies attacking me in the beginning of the game looked void of quality polygons and textures. Picking up weapons and items off the ground felt painfully dull and long. I have never hated an MMO so much as I did The Secret World. After playing Dozens of MMOs for 12+ years.. I can say without a doubt.. The Secret World is by far the worst MMO to date.
The Secret World is taking MMOs in the wrong direction. I felt like I was playing a crappier version of City of Heroes.
