Major disappointment. Video Game Cliche #1: Frustrating game control and camera issues. Rent it once, you won't buy.

I was really looking forward to this game, as I was a big fan of Hit and Run. This game had great potential to be an entertaining and engaging game. However, the game is completely ruined by the game control and camera issues. From the instant the game begins you will be maddened by impossible game control. Your first task is to hop from a river bank to a floating cake (at least the humour is good!), but it takes about 5 tries to get it right. The key to accomplishing most tasks in the game is to get the camera angle exactly right so that you can actually see what you're doing. Um..yeah, not fun.
What makes the game all the more disappointing is that, aside from game control and camera issues, the game seems to have gotten everything else right. Slightly better game control and camera and the game would have been a total winner. Personally I find the game unplayable, but I have to give it at least some credit for the classic Simpson humour (hilarious comments), fun level design and concepts, lots of smashing, and lots of playable characters. How could it all go so wrong?
