I freely admit to only renting this game and playing the opening levels with Homer and then Bart, but, as an avid "Simpsons" fan who has seen all the episodes at least four times and who now is the proud owner of the season three dvd set let me say that this game captures the spirit of the tv show beautifully. The characters look very similiar to the "Homer3" episode and the town of Springfield is as well represented as one could hope for...the elevator to nowhere, the monorail, the catapult from the Beer Baron episode and so much more. The cars control fairly well and differant cars do handle differant, as they should...just don't expect GT3.This game will be a definite purchase mostly for the "Simpson" factor but also for the shear fun to be had in roaming through the city and surrounding areas. Even though the game is mostly mission based races they are all fun and there are plenty of side races as well as the opportunity to get out of your car and just walk around Springfield...this game is a real joy.
