The Simpsons hit & run is the latest installment (or "average game") that everyone's been talking about. You can drive cars, skate at points with Bart and even play as Apu. There is something that drives you crazy about the game, which I find is much more pleasing in a cartoon-ish way. It is very, very similiar to GTA. The only thing different is the free roaming, which has you continuesly going down one road throught the whole city. There is a good four or five cities to explore, but I think it can be done by doing one lap or so. It is your typical cartoon free-style game with less the charm that could have made this a better game. The missions are boring and sometimes a bit challenging and the actual gameplay is like talking to a drunken Homer. If you're looking for another GTA without the swearing and violence, then this is a great way to go.
