A great expansion for a great game

Apartment Life has a lot more than apartments to it, it is a combination of the new apartments idea and a reinvisioning of the magic element from the Sims 1 Making Magic pack, but I think done better. The apartments add a new dimention to where your sims can live and how they can live there, aspects of being a renter rather than a home owner show though in this and makes for some new and varied activities. The magic can be totally ignored if you want, as can the apartments if you want to, so you can use the entire espansion or just the part that most appeals to you if you should so wish. To access magic you have to make friends with a witch NPC and learn the craft, this is similer the the earlier Vampires in the Nightlife pack. This is not a small tack on fetcher either, the magic aspect is quite in depth and even has their own form of teleporting which reminded me of Harry Potter. Other smaller additions is being able to learn new things like from the bookcase. Other nice little additions are newspapers being delivered to your porch rather than by the mailbox. Overall, this is a very good pack.
