For a dedicated Sims2 fan...but for anyone else?

I see Sims 2 Holiday Pack as a mini-mini-mini-mini expansion pack. It does not add any new game play features to the Sims 2 just some holiday related items for you to play about with.
For a dedicated Sims 2 fan who wants everything and anything this will be a must buy, but for everyone else is it worth paying for a few more items? This add-on is one of those "if someone does not buy it for me or if I can't borrow it from someone" then it isn't worth buying.

For me, I would stick to the main expansion packs which are great and leave this extra tit-bit. It seems like somebody is trying to squeeze out as much money as they can.....
