This game is a huge disappointment compared to the previous Sims games on GBA..
When I put the game in my GBA the first disappointment was the look of my Sim. What happened to the cute cartoony style Sims of the previous games? This one looks like stick figure and walks like a zombie! The pets look o.k. but the interactions are just dull, not very entertaining. There are several things that don't make much sense to me. When you just bought your first pet, you don't need to buy food or anything, your pet can do without perfectly well! Also the personality of the pet seems to change throughout the game..
You'll have to spend a lot of time training your pet, which basically means that you are repeating the same interactions over and over again. The number of jobs you can do when you start the game is very limited, plus you can't work on weekends. I found that the best way to earn cash is to buy a pet, teach it some tricks and they sell it back to the pet shop.
What I'm also missing in this game are the goals. In the previous games you'd get a checklist with goals you needed to accomplish. When you'd finish stuff on the list, you'd either get a few more goals added to the list, or get a entire new list to work on. With this game I feel a little lost about what I'm doing or supposed to do.
I think that EA hasn't put enough time and effort into developing this game, which is why I don't feel like putting time into playing it, unfortunately!
