It could have been much more but fails with the constant loading.
This game had potential but the constant loading times makes the player become weary. I must say I was skeptical to GameSpots and other player's reviews about the constant loading. Now, that I own the game I understand what they meant. It really makes it tough to play the game because you have to endure loading times when going to another part of town, when going inside a home/store, when starting a minigame, loading while playing the minigame (lag) and loading when just walking about.
The graphics are well done. I was impressed at how the Sim models look very much alike to those in the pc. I was also impressed about how they managed to get the outfits from the PC game as well, also some hairstyles (from University EP as well.) After looking at the graphics, I wished they had done the same with the console version (the graphics are just horrible in my opinion, and I got the Xbox version).
The story is actually interesting. I like going around trying to find the secrets from Strangetown. What each Sim's story is.
Overall, it's a decent game. It could have been a solid Sims game on a portable machine but the constant loading makes it difficult to enjoy the experience.
