This game isn't amazing, it is over hyped, but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. A solid improvement over the last installments to the home console, but not a whole lot better. The graphics we've seen before many times and are mediocre at this point, the sound effects can be funny at times and just plain annoying at others. The gameplay is solid as most Sims, but it also tears itself down from its computer counterpart. The customization could of been better, it feels like a cheap rehash. Given the original formula isn't that amazing in the first place should be a good indication. Overall it feels like a sims expansion pack for the home console's, just not with much new.

Solid gameplay, just at this point its became very boring. Hard to play for more than 30 minutes at a time.
Graphics - 7
Blocky and ugly characters and sluggish at times.
Sound - 6
Like i said, amusing or annoying, but for the most part bland.
Replay Value - 7
Probably the lowest replay value of any sims game, the home console series is slowly falling apart.
Overall - 6.4
Just no fun, it can be entertaining for a small time. Beyond that lies nothing, the series could be great on home consoles, it just has yet to be executed right.
