The best simulation game of all time. Create a family is unique and has thousands of possibilities for your sim. You have to even customize your sims own unique personallity and aspirations meaning influences.Also your sims likes and dislikes for dating. You then have to find a lot for your sim or you can move in with a neighbor. Then once you move in you must fulfill your sims needs being getting a job in a certain careers such as slacker and criminal career. Also buying furniture and electronics is usually a need. For kid sims they must go to school and get good grades. Adult sims go to work if they have a job. you find jobs on the computer and in the newspaper. your sims have to eat, bath, and sleep. This makes the game realistic. Also kids turn teens, teens turn into adults, adults turn to elders. When elders they die old. But your family doesn't die. This means you can make generations of sims by your kids getting married and having children. This takes a while ,but if you play enough its fast. Overall sims 2 has endless possibilities with with tons of expansions and stuff packs. Amazing game.
