Same sims shenanigans
I did not find it that bad to give it a 6.5. It is basically the same thing as all the other sims games. Only thing is the Sims do not grow old and they do not have kids. Sims not growing old is a bonus imo.
I was surprised that they did not include an old town. At least then they could have had someplace to go.
You can't get custom content,but then you don't get the headache of some custom content crashing your game,and having to use Sim cop or some other program to remove all the troublesome files.
With no downloads you can't get things items that refresh them like the stuff from SimSlice. Kinda a mixed bag not being able to get any custom content.
The Sims can do a few interesting things at home once you unlock the more interesting items. Surf and Boogie board to name one.
One huge improvement that would benefit all Sims games would be direct control of a sim when it is doing a sport, playing chess etc. Instead of just watching you could actually make your sim surf. I gues that is why it is still a game for casual gamers and not the hardcore gamers.
I don't know why the did not relaease a Complete Compilation for the Sims 2 on the consoles.
Best thing to do is use the gnome and money cheat,and then just watch them have fun.
