Horrible. As someone who has played the sims from the very beginning, i am extremely disappointed in this game!! I realize that with the base game comes basic features, but the 'features' or i should say lack of features in this game is HORRIBLE. This is such a downgrade from the sims 3; gameplay is boring, there are no open worlds, no cars, no pools, no toddlers, no family trees, teens and adults are nearly identical in appearance, there are no "normal" jobs, no story progression, etc. I could go on and on about how bad this game is. The only positive aspects are create a sim which has been improved greatly by how much more you can edit your sim, minus the removal of create a style, and the more detailed sim interactions and emotions. I plan on returning the game and getting a full refund (via origin great game guarantee). Also the fact that this game costs of a min. of 59.99 is a huge JOKE. So overpriced. Such a shame this turned out so bad.
