Not as good as the original but it has its momments.
When the day arrived for it to hit store shelves I was there as well to take it home on the same day.
The game itself was one big roller coaster ride in the way of difficulty. Some stages of the game so easy I could have passed them half asleep while others where hard to the point of near controller toss-a-thon.
After playing the first suffering game I expected more of a plot line and way more story then what was handed to me. The ending of the game left me with a bad taste in my mouth as it ended with as much flair as giving me a "Thank you for playing. Game Over" screen like the oldin days of gamming.
Frankly the enemies in this installment are just bad rehashes from Carnate island as well as bringing back some of the old foes you grew to know and run the other way from.
All in all if you where a fan of the first game then this is a must buy just so you can get all those questions from the first game answered. Now if this is your first undertaking into the realm of the suffering I would suggest hitting your local blockbuster and giving it a quick rented whirl around the block.
