First off this game is not a horror game. This is an action game. Please do not make the same mistake of thinking this game will be scary, its not. It’s not for silent hill fans. I am I huge Silent Hill (and all Japanese horror) fan and this was not for me. This takes the much more direct in your face bloody gory straightforward "horror" route. Though I found myself scared not even once the whole game. Every room is just filled with something disturbing or gory. The whole game has repetitive monsters. The monsters are all original and cool looking but then you see them constantly and get sick of them very fast. The sad excuse this game used as a gimmick to get people to think of as replay value is the multiple endings. There are 3. I got the best ending. It was short uneventful and rather lame. I hear from reading about the other endings that they aren’t amazing either. This is much of the equivalent of watching a really lame corny horror movie that is a hack and slash gore fest. If you find that scary, go on ahead and be scared with this game, if you’re like me and like deep stories, meaningful characters, plot development, and psychological scares then DO NOT buy this game. Now briefly about how I scored this: Gameplay: repetitive enemies, bloody and un-scary everything, and boring story get a 5 Graphics: I must say they look very good, lighting was very good it gets an 8 Sound: very well done. If anything makes you jump in this game it’s the soundtrack though the enemies all sound really annoying and their sounds are used over and over gets an 8 Value: replay value is very lame and all together its a short and easy action game; 6 Reviewers Tilt: I hated this game. I guess some people can like it but it isn’t for me: 2
