Right from the start you will notice some key difference from The Surge ll and The Surge. Obviously the graphics are better, but the movements are more fluid also. Heavy attacks and light attacks are strung together in a flow of destruction which is easy to pull off some nice fatalities, combat becomes addicting. You can still target different body parts in order to get materials for equipment, but it's done so much better now. The NPCS and the cities feel alive in a place surrounded by so much death and destruction. The music has always been a key staple in The Surge and in part ll it's just as good as part 1. Atmospheric, sleek combat with awesome upgrades and a ton of weapons to keep your unique style of killing easy. Combat is #1 in the Surge ll. You should not get bored of this, even many, many hours later. Challenging, souls-like, highly recommended. (not a cheap rip off of souls-like games like I've seen so many times before, this is done right).
