One of the few good movie tie-in games.
The game is set just a few month's after the events of the film, where you and your team set-out in search for the surviving members of outpost 31.
The first level is just pure nostalgia; taking you threw the base in it's ruined state. After that objective is over, you have to carry on to find out what's going on.
What makes the game unique to the horror genre, is it's trust system. You have squad mates that are ranked in 3 categories: Soilder, Medic, Mechanic, each with there own special abilities that help you threw the game. The A.I is pretty well made; if they think your acting strange, they'll either attack you, or refuse to help you. So you need to work with them if you want any help.
The game is a hell of a lenth as well; so it'll take you a while to complete the game.
The down side to the game however, is while the whole: who is the thing, is exciting at first, it soon becomes obvious, that pretty much all the guy's you find on your mission are infected. Meaning there isn't alot there for tention.
Graphics: Pretty well made. Facial animation in particular are pretty good. 7.5
Sound: Great dialouge, and some pretty tense music. 7.5
Gameplay: Just your standard shooter, but with the exception of the trust system. 7.5
Sh*te Box: The predictable infected human's. Camera can be a pain.
Overall: Few Movie licence games pass as being good. This one in particular is great! And if your a fan of the film you'll love the game. If your a horror fan this is one to play, just for being different.
