I didn't know about this game until probably the mid-90s when Nintendo was gearing up for the N64. I saw it in a used video game store and was absolutely floored. My dreams had come true. So I bought it. To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much, but this game is actually pretty good. You, as the Three Stooges are trying to help save an orphanage from a greedy lanlord and must perform different tasks in order to get money. These tasks involve pie fights, catching live oysters in the oyster soup, and, as Larry, get from the fight ring to the store selling the radio playing Pop Goes the Weasel and back. (From the 1934 classic Punch Drunks.) There are other little tasks here and there, but you get the idea. The graphics are surprisingly good for this game. The music can get a little grating at times, but not too bad. The gameplay does get repetitive over time however, as you do end up having to repeat the same tasks over and over to get all the money to save the orphans (I've never beaten this game). My favorite part is when you play as Moe and get a certain amount of money for the amount of times you hit Larry and/or Curly.
Fun Fact: The screen saver in the background during a scene from Lethal Weapon 3 with Mel Gibson and Renee Russo is a scene from this game. That film holds a special place in my heart, not only because of the inclusion of this game, but because the scenes at the construction site were filmed down the street from my house. Pretty cool when you are 15.
