The worst game in the series. Its something like sim city only difference is that you build upwards.

User Rating: 6.1 | The Tower SP GBA
The Concept:
The Tower SP is an in-depth sim experience that allows the player to design, build, and manage every aspect of successfully creating a skyscraper. Players will decide where to place apartments, hotel rooms, office spaces, restaurants, commercial shops, elevators, and a multitude of other construction items in their building. As the tower grows, players will have to deal with a multitude of real life situations such as fires, insect infestations, burglaries, and of course the occasional unhappy tenant. Only with savvy design and wise management skills will the player's tower attract masses of patrons and tenants.

The main goal in The Tower SP is to achieve a "Five Star" building rating and gain official "Tower" status. This can only be achieved by completing specific objectives and creating a building that is a marvel of both efficiency and design. Happy tenants play a large roll in the building's success.

Graphics = 6/10
For the most part, they are unexceptional. The game is a basic Sim City kind of game, but in all honesty it looks like you are playing with blocks. The camera angle is basically a straight foward look, but from about 100 feet back (So it seems). You don't get a chance to appreciate anything as everything is so far away. The tenents look like little colored stick figures, and even the building components (Such as the bathroom, burger shops, etc.) look like a 6 year old drew them. Last, another thing that draws away from the game is the fact that you cannot change camera angles. This is always an annoyance, but is yet done again.

Sound = 7/10
For the most part the sounds in the game are entertaining, but there is no music whatsoever. This is a serious drawback for any game, but the sounds of the street, inside the building, and the basic ambience is pretty nice. However, one sad part of it is that the sounds used seem like they are overused, such as the cash register sound when you purchase something. Never could expect that huh...

Controls & Playability = 9/10
This is one part that was done very well. The controls seem to suit the game next to perfectly, and it allows you to do as you please for the most part. There is not much room for improvement as I see it in this department, but it is sad that this is the only good part of this game.

Replay Value = 3/10
This game takes WAY too long (Even if you fast foward it within the game & the VBA at the same time). As soon as you beat it, you will never want to go back to it again.

Overall = 6.25/10
Overall I would say stay away from this unles you are a big fan of the Sim City genre. If your looking for a good game of this type, go after Sim City iself, instead of trying it's ugly cousin
