The "gamey" part of the game consists of finding 3 passwords. One was easy enough, a second one was waaay too hard, and the third one was actually ok. There is also a story you are supposed to piece together... But even if you do so, there is absolutely nothing to confirm or deny your theory of what has happened. One might consider this to be more "realistic" -- forensic work often leads to questions without answers -- but then the ZIP files themselves contain references to the game itself, which isn't realistic at all. So the game has a few instances of realism without reward, and a few instances of gaming which are not rewarding either.
I can appreciate a game without full closure ("Her Story" was a fantastic example of that), but this one feels like all work and no fun. But again: if you are one of those people which have **FUN** recovering deleted files from failed hard drives or doing similar tasks, you will love this game.
